⟡ WHAT IS YOUR JEWELRY MADE OUT OF?
We mostly use a variety of 14k - 24k plated / gold filled material. Our base metals usually consist of brass, copper, stainless steel, or sterling silver. We often use gemstones, raw crystals, seashells, and other elements too. At times we do offer solid gold. Specific info can be found in each product description. We are passionate about offering high quality jewelry that will last long-term. With the exception of certain natural components, most of our items are water resistant, tarnish resistant, and hypoallergenic. It is the responsibility of each customer to know if they have metal sensitivities. The following graphics display a general understanding of what our jewelry is made out of.
⟡ HOW LONG WILL MY JEWELRY LAST?
The longevity is contingent upon the materials chosen, the use of each person, body chemistry, lifestyle, and environment. With proper care, our pieces can last for years to come. The following may affect the appearance of your jewelry over time with extended wear: build-up of sweat + oil + dirt + body product residue, skin pH levels, certain medical conditions, and harsh chemicals. Though the chances of these factors causing significant or rapid deterioration is less prone with demi-fine pieces, it is not impossible. With that said, we try our best to disclose such information & educate. Terms such as "tarnish resistant" does not mean the color can never change or fade. It simply means it will hold up & not become discolored for a long time or maybe even at all depending on each person. It is not normal for any of our jewelry to turn after just a few wears.
⟡ HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?
Many of our customers are able to workout, swim, and shower with their jewelry on with no issues, but for best practice we recommend removing when possible to help your jewelry last longer. Be mindful when using fragrance sprays, lotions, oils, etc. Try your best not to apply these directly onto the jewelry. To clean, use warm, soapy water & a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the piece. Rinse & pat dry. Occasionally wipe your jewelry with a polishing cloth. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
